I caught a midnight train to UCSF and I’m HERE!! The Eagle has landed.
I have a shared room and zero view. So much for Marin Living.
Room 1235 Bed 1
Sounds like tomorrow will be busy with meeting new Docs and assessments.

It seems like everyone’s more anxious than me about moving. It’s just a matter of a bed opening up and priority and other circumstances. Things just have to align correctly and I’ll be on my way. But no one’s is holding out the info. I guarantee the shot will be heard around the globe when it’s actually happening.
(so please don’t text me whether I’m in SF yet, just assume I’m still in Marin)
(No news on move yet. Still holding pattern)
No move yet. Still at Marin General.
Waiting for an available bed at UCSF. All is well. Having a typical day. ???
I’m moving to UCSF in the city most likely tomorrow, Thurs.
I don’t have timing details yet; there’s a lot of coordination to be done. But timeframe is tomorrow.
My case has been passed around USCF & Stanford because my spine fusion surgery looks textbook good and my recovery is not progressing like they expect given my general health and age.
At UCSF, as best I can layman explain, they’re going to take a look at my spine with a different technology to see if blood vessel flow is inhibited and other things you wouldn’t see in the 7+ hours of MRI time I’ve thus far banked.
SO, I’ll be back in SF. The visitation schedule we’re going to have to put on hold until we get a grip on what life will be like there.
It’s the UCSF Parnassus Main Campus.
Literally next to Kezar Stadium where GGTC has track practice.
All good news!
The sun now sets on my stay and Marin General Hospital.
